This Privacy Policy describes how Boozn' Sams LLC, doing business as Sitin ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information.
This policy applies to sitinsavor.com and booznsams.com (the "Site"), to purchases you make from us in person at markets, festivals, and events, and to our email and text communications.
It tells you:
- What personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with
- What choices you have about your information
- How we protect your information
- How you can access, correct, or delete your information
Personal information we collect
Device Information
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. We call this "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using:
- Cookies — data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. To learn more about cookies and how to disable them, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files — records of actions on the Site, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
- Web beacons, tags, and pixels — electronic files that record how you browse the Site.
Order Information
When you make or attempt to make a purchase, whether online or in person at an event, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We call this "Order Information."
We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. Payment card data is processed by our payment providers.
Information you give us directly
- Email address and name when you join our mailing list, including sign-ups at events
- Messages you send through our contact form
- Product reviews and photos you submit
- Account details if you create a customer account
- Phone number if you opt in to text messages
When we say "Personal Information" in this policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information, and information you give us directly.
How we use your personal information
We use Order Information to fulfill orders, including processing payments, arranging shipping, and sending you invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:
- Communicate with you about your order
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud
- Send you information or advertising about our products, when that matches the preferences you have shared with us
We use Device Information to screen for risk and fraud, particularly your IP address, and to improve the Site. That includes generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and measuring how our marketing performs.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide. Administrators and shop managers can see:
- Order information, including what was purchased, when, and where it ships
- Customer information, including your name, email address, and billing and shipping information
Our team accesses this information to fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you.
How we share your personal information
We share Personal Information with third parties who help us operate our business. These include:
- E-commerce platform. We use Shopify to power our online store and our in-person point of sale. You can read Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- Payment processors, to complete your transaction.
- Shipping and fulfillment providers, to deliver your order.

- Advertising platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, as described in the Behavioral Advertising section below.
- Email, review, and loyalty tools that send our messages, collect reviews, and manage rewards.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Behavioral advertising
We use your Personal Information to show you targeted advertisements and marketing we believe may interest you. To do this, we use tracking technologies including the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags.
Under some state privacy laws, this use of tracking technologies for advertising counts as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. See the "Your privacy rights" section below for how to opt out.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.
We do not currently respond to other Do Not Track signals.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access. Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your personal information.
- Portability. Get a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out. Tell us to stop using your information for targeted advertising, or for sale or sharing.
- Non-discrimination. We will not charge you a different price or give you worse service for exercising these rights.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to your appeal within the time your state law allows.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you have the rights listed above under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. You also have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to. That information appears throughout this policy.
We share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, use our contact form or send a GPC signal from your browser.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Other U.S. state residents
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, have similar rights. Use our contact form to exercise them.
European and United Kingdom residents
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
We process your information to fulfill contracts we have with you, such as when you place an order, and to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Where we rely on consent, such as marketing email, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States and Canada.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep Order Information for our records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our tax and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who on our team can see your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
